Job Description

Our established client is looking to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer to work within their engineering team, to manage existing and develop new work with their various customers in the foundry & composite tooling industries.

Duties will include but are not limited to:
• Account management
• Win new business
• Develop & maintain clients relationships throughout the UK
• Visit clients on site
• Sell client services and expanding existing client database
• Offer technical advice and support clients requirements
• Prepare quotations
• Follow-up outstanding quotations/estimates with clients
• Work from technical & detailed drawings
• Handle inbound calls into the business

Skills/Experience Required:
• Have a knowledge of the pattern foundry tooling or composite model tooling industry
• Be able to offer excellent customer service with account management skills
• Be proactive with the able to generate / win new business & close sales when required
• Understand the customers' requirements
• Be able to read technical/detailed drawings send into the business by the client
• Must hold a full clean driving license and be prepared to visit clients as required anywhere in the UK
• Preferably time served with a strong patternmaking/ foundry background
• Must be PC literate using Microsoft packages
• Must be able to work as part of a team within a small office environment
• Have a driven/positive attitude
