Toolroom Supervisor/CNC Engineer
This will be a dual role within a busy Redditch based Toolmaking company.
Looking for a vibrant, dynamic & technically good person to drive this part of the business forward must be proficient in CAD/CAM, programming online/offline. Knowledge of programming from 3D models/Step files would be an advantage. We are currently using OneCNC offline software. Machining on a 4-axis Mini mill with a Siemens sinumerik controller through to a 2-axis CNC with Proto-Trak/accurite controllers. Through to inspection of the part.
Permanent days.
- Low volume
- Small precision components.
- Able to work to tight tolerances from engineering drawings
- Helping to run the company smoothly & efficiently being responsible directly to the Managing Director
- Supervisor duties
- To Help M/D with organizing workload through the manufacturing shopfloor
- Inputting works orders onto the system & creating process sheets for each job, knowledge of Emax preferred but not essential
- To promote Health & safety
- Maintaining quality
- CNC duties
Good rates of pay up to £17ph
Holidays – 25 days 8 days bank or public holidays (33 days total)
Sickness scheme after a 12-month qualifying period
All overtime paid at time and one half.

Job title: Trainee welder
Location: Redditch
Salary: £10.00 ph
A position has become available for a Trainee welder / Fabricator for a straight permanent position with full training provided
Day to Day duties will include the following:
* MIG welding
* Weld on Aluminum
* Welding on up to 20mm
* Replace and repair parts
* Fabrication from time to time
As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
* Willing to learn
* happy to take instructions whilst training
* happy to work extra hours when required
* must have own transport due to location

Day to day duties will include the following:
•MIG Welding •Welding 90% on Mild steel •Working from engineering drawings •Measuring, cutting, drilling welding and fabrication from start to finish •Working from box section and sheet
As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
•MIG welding and fabrication experience skills •Ability to work from engineering drawings •Welding from 2mm to 25mm
