CNC Mill/Turn Setter, Operator, Programmer 
Full-time, permanent
£12-15 p/h DOE plus opportunities for overtime


The role:
⦁ Working as part of a closely-knit team, the CNC Technician is an integral role requiring advanced
⦁ manufacturing engineering skills as well as time management, to ensure that complex precision component
⦁ machining is delivered to the highest possible standards and in a timely fashion.

⦁ Key responsibilities include:
⦁ Interpreting technical drawings/documents to create CNC programs using Fusion 360.
⦁ Setting and running multi axis CNC machines creating high quality bespoke components
⦁ Setting and running manual mills / lathes
⦁ Supporting the flow of production and helping to ensure production stays on track
⦁ Ensuring machinery is used in a safe and efficient manner


⦁ have extensive experience of machine shop environments and processes
⦁ have extensive experience machining components from specialist materials; using conventional and
⦁ CNC machines such as centre lathes, vertical and horizontal milling machines, horizontal and cylindrical grinding machines, and single and multi-axis CNC machine tools
⦁ Read and interpret technical drawings
⦁ be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
⦁ have the desire to learn and improve yourself
⦁ Know when to escalate an issue
⦁ have a positive outlook on the role and bigger picture
⦁ have a ‘can do’ attitude 
⦁ have good communication skills
